Don is married to his wife, Jennifer, and together they have a daughter and a son. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA. His career began in heavy industry with Dow Chemical and transitioned into light manufacturing, where he has spent more than two decades in window and door manufacturing (fenestration). As the leader of a Kingdom-minded entrepreneurial venture, he is committed to honoring God, honoring team members, honoring clients, and honoring the community—in that order. Widely regarded as a Servant Leader, he thrives on empowering others, fostering collaboration, and inspiring innovation. Recognized as a galvanizing innovator in business, he combines vision and execution to create lasting impact for the people and organizations he serves.

HAnnah Yost

Construction Coordinator

As Construction Coordinator, Hannah Yost brings a balance of strong organization and a people-first approach to every project. She enjoys building relationships and working closely with clients, contractors, and design teams to keep things running smoothly from start to finish. With a detail-oriented mindset and a focus on clear communication, Hannah helps ensure that each phase of the process stays on track and is well-coordinated. She values meaningful connections—both professionally and personally—and finds joy in spending quality time with friends and family, along with her passion for music.

As Project Manager, Michael brings a hands-on, solutions-focused approach to every job. Michael values teamwork and transparency, working closely with clients and crews to create a streamlined experience from start to finish. David ReeD

Project Superintendent

With 40 years in construction, David has mastered working with homeowners, managing crews, and keeping projects on track. Known for his hands-on approach and eye for detail, he ensures every job is done right, on time, and to the highest standard. He is dedicated to making sure each homeowner is fully satisfied and takes pride in truly caring for their needs throughout the process.

Edward Stroop

Founding Partner

As a Florida Certified General Contractor Edward Stroop has 36 years experience in the construction industry. He graduated from the University of Florida in 1981 with a degree in Architecture. Edward has managed, directed and been financially responsible for every aspect of the Construction and Architecture trades. Edward is a hands-on owner responsible not only for the business management of the company but oversees all construction aspects of the company.

Bayne BEecher

Vice President

Bayne Beecher leads operations at Stroop Design & Construction, bringing over 30 years of industry experience to every project. Based in Sarasota, he ensures seamless, high-quality delivery across residential, commercial, and institutional builds throughout Southwest Florida. Bayne previously spent 16 years at PGT Innovations, managing operations and quality for Florida’s top hurricane-resistant window and door manufacturer. His technical background and regional knowledge help ensure every Stroop project is built to last in Florida’s coastal climate. He holds a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Webster University. Bayne also serves on the Board of Directors for CareerSource Florida and lives in Palmetto with his wife and four children.

Errol Sackett

Project Manager

Errol Sackett is a Project Manager who has built a reputation for delivering high-quality projects while staying grounded in strong Christian values. Errol blends technical expertise with a heart for service, overseeing residential and commercial projects from inception to completion. As a skilled communicator and problem solver, Errol views each project as an opportunity to serve, fostering an environment of integrity, collaboration, and stewardship.

Designer

An award-winning designer with over 30 years of experience, including over 15 years running her own business, Michelle brings a thoughtful and organized approach to every project. She specializes in kitchen and bath design, hard surface selections, and space planning—helping clients make confident choices that bring comfort and flow to their spaces. Michelle enjoys getting to know each client and creating environments that feel cohesive, functional, and true to their vision.
